Dallas Trinity FC held off a late DC Power FC fightback to claim a 2–1 victory in USL Super League action on Sunday. Onyeka Gamero and Jasmine Hamid scored either side of halftime to put the hosts in command before Meila Brewer pulled one back for the visitors.

The first half was a patient affair, with neither side finding the net until the 42nd minute. Gamero broke the deadlock just before the break, giving Dallas a slim lead to carry into halftime.

Trinity doubled their advantage early in the second half. Hamid made it 2–0 in the 56th minute, finishing off a chance created by Cyera Hintzen. At that point, Dallas looked well in control of the contest.

DC Power, though, refused to go quietly. Emma Jaskaniec picked up a yellow card in the 62nd minute as the visitors' frustration began to show, but just four minutes later Brewer cut the deficit to one. Suddenly, the final 25 minutes carried genuine tension.

Dallas weathered the pressure. Lee Nguyen was cautioned in the 74th minute — a booking that suggested Trinity were doing what they needed to do to protect their lead, even if it meant slowing things down. Power pushed for an equalizer through the closing stages but couldn't manufacture another clear opening.

The win gives Dallas Trinity FC a valuable three points at home and reinforces their credentials as a side capable of managing games even when opponents mount a second-half charge.
