Real San Jose routed Oakland Stompers 11–2 in NPSL action on June 4, with seven different players finding the net in a lopsided affair. J. Downes led the way with a hat trick, while F. Martinez, E. Luna Ramirez, and N. Colmenares each scored twice. M. Portillo and M. Rivera added a goal apiece. V. Salguero Cabrera and J. Jaramillo replied for Oakland.

Martinez needed just two minutes to open the scoring, and the floodgates were already creaking before Oakland's task became virtually impossible. M. Márquez Chicas was shown a straight red card in the 17th minute, leaving the Stompers to play the remaining 73 minutes a man down.

Real San Jose pounced. Portillo made it 2–0 in the 24th minute, and Martinez struck again four minutes later for his second. Salguero Cabrera pulled one back for Oakland at the same mark, briefly making it 3–1
