Sporting JAX and Brooklyn FC played out a 2–2 draw in USL Championship action on Saturday, with the hosts twice coming from behind to salvage a point. Peter Mangione and Stefan Stojanovic struck early for Brooklyn, while Tyshawn Rose and Rafferty Pedder responded for Sporting JAX in a game that swung on momentum shifts in each half.

Brooklyn wasted no time seizing control. Mangione opened the scoring in just the eighth minute, and Stojanovic doubled the visitors' advantage in the 23rd, finishing off a Christopher Olney Jr. delivery to leave Sporting JAX staring at a two-goal deficit before the half-hour mark.

The hosts needed a spark, and Rose provided it. He pulled one back in the 37th minute, converting from an Edgardo Rito feed to cut the deficit in half heading into the break. Rose was booked in first-half stoppage time but had already done his damage on the scoresheet.

Sporting JAX carried that late first-half energy into the second period. Pedder completed the comeback ten minutes after the restart, finishing from a Kieran Sadlier assist to level proceedings at 2–2 in the 55th minute.

Neither side could find a winner in the final 35 minutes. Brooklyn will feel they let two points slip after their fast start, while Sporting JAX can take credit for the fight shown after falling behind so early.

The draw keeps both sides in the middle of the USL Championship table, with each needing to turn shared points into wins as the season pushes toward the summer stretch.
