Brooklyn FC and Tampa Bay Sun FC played out a 2–2 draw in USL Super League action on Saturday, with Catherine Zimmerman's stoppage-time equalizer rescuing a point for the hosts. Natasha Flint and Ava Tankersley scored for Tampa Bay, while Rebecca Cooke and Zimmerman found the net for Brooklyn.
Tampa Bay took the lead in the 38th minute when Flint finished off a Sydny Nasello assist to put the visitors ahead. The Sun had already picked up two yellow cards by that point — Tankersley and Vivianne Bessette both cautioned in the 26th minute — but the early indiscipline didn't slow them down.
Brooklyn pulled level shortly after the hour mark. Leah Scarpelli set up Cooke, who converted in the 61st minute to make it 1–1. Flint was booked a minute later as Tampa Bay's card
