Dallas Trinity FC and Lexington SC played out a 2–2 draw in USL Super League action on Wednesday, with Catherine Barry's stoppage-time equalizer denying the hosts all three points. Alyssa Bourgeois and Barry scored for Lexington, while Alexis Missimo and Lauren Flynn found the net for Dallas Trinity.

Lexington drew first blood in the 26th minute when Bourgeois finished from a Sarah Griffith delivery to put the visitors ahead. Dallas Trinity struggled to create clear openings for the remainder of the first half, and Lexington went into the break with their lead intact — though Griffith picked up a yellow card in the 42nd minute.

The home side came out sharper after halftime. Missimo pulled Dallas Trinity level ten minutes into the second half, and the momentum shifted decisively. The hosts kept pressing and were rewarded in the 79th minute when Flynn converted from a Chioma Ubogagu pass to make it 2–1. Dallas Trinity looked set to see the result out.

Lexington had other ideas. Deep into added time, Barry struck to level the score at 2–2 and rescue a point for the visitors in dramatic fashion. It was the kind of late goal that will sting for weeks in
