Chattanooga Red Wolves SC cruised to a 3–0 victory over Corpus Christi FC in USL League One action on Saturday, with Pedro Hernandez, Omar Gómez, and Omar Hernandez all finding the net to seal a comfortable home win.
The Red Wolves set the tone early despite a scrappy opening that saw Eric Kinzner booked inside the first minute. Chattanooga weathered a flurry of their own yellow cards — Scott MacKenzie was cautioned in the seventh minute and Aaron Lombardi followed in the 25th — but it was the hosts who broke through. Pedro Hernandez opened the scoring in the 27th minute, giving Chattanooga a lead they would never relinquish.
The Red Wolves doubled their advantage deep into first-half stoppage time when Omar Gómez finished from a Kinzner delivery to make it 2–0 heading into the break. It was a fitting contribution from Kinzner, who had spent much of the half walking a disciplinary tightrope after his early booking.
Corpus Christi offered little in response. Patrick Langlois picked up a yellow card early in the second half as frustration crept in, and the visitors struggled to create meaningful chances against a Chattanooga side content to manage the game at their own tempo.
The final blow came in the 93rd minute. Pedro Hernandez turned provider, setting up Omar Hernandez to slot home and cap a dominant performance. Chattanooga could have done without their five yellow cards on the night, but the clean sheet and three goals told the real story.
The result strengthens Chattanooga Red Wolves SC's position in the League One standings as the 2026 season enters its final stretch.
