Orange County SC and Lexington SC played out a goalless draw in USL Championship action on Saturday, with neither side able to find a breakthrough across 90 minutes.

The first half was a cagey affair marked more by cautions than clear-cut chances. Orange County's Tom Brewitt was the first into the referee's notebook in the 31st minute, and Lexington's Jacob Greene followed shortly before halftime, picking up a yellow in the 42nd minute. The cards reflected a scrappy opening period in which neither attack could establish any real rhythm.

The second half offered little improvement in the final third. Orange County pushed for a winner but lacked the cutting edge to convert pressure into genuine scoring opportunities. Lyam MacKinnon's booking in the 71st minute summed up the hosts' growing frustration as the game wore on. Lexington, for their part, were content to stay compact and hit on the counter, though they too failed to test the opposition goalkeeper in any meaningful way.

The closing stages brought more of the same. Lexington's Kendall Burks was cautioned in the 90th minute as tempers flared late, but the final whistle arrived without either side coming close to snatching all three points.

A combined four yellow cards and zero goals told the story of a match that never truly sparked to life. The point apiece does little to shift the momentum for either club as both look to turn draws into wins during the early weeks of the season.
