DC Power FC and Brooklyn FC shared the spoils in a 2–2 draw in USL Super League action on Thursday night. Loza Geinore and Gianna Gourley struck for the hosts in the first half, while Kelsey Hill and Rebecca Cooke responded after the break to earn Brooklyn a point on the road.

DC Power came out with intent early. Geinore opened the scoring in the 19th minute, finishing off a pass from Dasia Torbert to give the home side the lead. Brooklyn's Mylena Santos picked up a yellow card four minutes later as the visitors struggled to find a foothold. Gourley then doubled the advantage in the 33rd minute with an unassisted effort, and DC Power took a comfortable two-goal cushion into halftime.

The second half told a different story. Brooklyn came out with renewed urgency and pulled one back through Hill in the 58th minute, shifting the momentum firmly in the visitors' favor. DC Power, who had looked in control for much of the first half, were now under sustained pressure. Jaydah Bedoya had already been cautioned in the 52nd minute, and the hosts were struggling to regain their composure.

Brooklyn kept pushing. The equalizer arrived in the 80th minute when Cooke converted from an Ana Maria Markovic delivery to level the match at two apiece. DC Power had no answer in the closing stages, and what had looked like a routine home win slipped away.

The draw will sting for DC Power, who surrendered a two-goal lead, while Brooklyn will take confidence from a second-half comeback that salvaged a point away from home.
