Fort Wayne FC and Corpus Christi FC played out a 1–1 draw in USL League One on Wednesday night, with Tiago Dias opening the scoring on 50 minutes before Ronald Alexis Cerritos equalized in the 63rd for the visitors.

The first half produced no goals but plenty of needle. The referee's notebook filled quickly — Arthur Medina was cautioned inside the opening ten minutes for Corpus Christi, and bookings for Juan Solis and Emerson Nieto followed for Fort Wayne. Nacho Abeal picked up a yellow of his own on the half-hour mark. Michael Rempel was then booked just seconds into the second half, making it four cautions for the home side alone before the hour.

Fort Wayne broke through five minutes after the restart. Javier Armas found Tiago Dias, who converted to give the hosts the lead. The advantage lasted just 13 minutes. Abeal — already walking a disciplinary tightrope — delivered the ball for Cerritos, who finished to level the score at 1–1.

The final stretch was tense but produced no winner. Medina was booked a second time in the 72nd minute, and Fort Wayne's Jeremy Garay saw yellow late on as tempers continued to simmer. Sam Roscoe-Byrne added his name to the list deep in stoppage time. In total, the referee brandished eight yellow cards across the 90 minutes — four for each side.

The point means both teams remain in the pack in USL League One, with neither able to build momentum from a scrappy, ill-tempered contest.
