Ristozi FC cruised to a 3–1 victory over DMV Elite FC in NPSL action on Wednesday, with J. Petty's second-half brace sealing the result after B. Baker opened the scoring and E. Valer briefly pulled one back for the visitors.
The first half produced few fireworks, though D. Mercado picked up a yellow card for Ristozi in the 34th minute. The hosts went into the break level but came out with far more urgency after the interval.
Baker broke the deadlock in the 60th minute to give Ristozi a 1–0 lead. DMV Elite responded quickly — Valer equalized just five minutes later to make it 1–1 and give the visitors a foothold in the match.
That parity lasted barely ten minutes. Petty struck in the 76th minute to restore Ristozi's advantage, then added a second three minutes later to put the game beyond reach at 3–1. The quick-fire double from Petty effectively killed the contest, and DMV Elite had no answer in the closing stages.
