District Elite FC came from behind — or rather, never trailed — in a 2–1 away victory over Hub City FC in NPSL action on Saturday, with A. Tadesse's first-half own goal and J. Sesay's second-half strike proving enough to see off the hosts despite a late consolation from D. Kian.

Hub City FC's troubles began in the 41st minute when Tadesse turned the ball into his own net to hand District Elite a 1–0 lead heading toward halftime. M. Brown had already been cautioned in the 35th minute, setting an early tone for what became a frustrating afternoon for the home side.

The second half offered no relief. District Elite doubled their advantage in the 70th minute through Sesay, who made it 2–0 and left Hub City FC with a mountain to climb. By that point, the hosts had already picked up another booking through I. Obizuo on the hour mark, and T. Johnson followed him into the referee's notebook in the 78th minute.

Kian pulled one back for Hub City FC in the 84th minute to inject brief hope into the contest, but the response came too late. J. Geist was booked just a minute later as Hub City pushed forward, and District Elite saw out the remaining minutes without serious trouble. Four yellow cards for Hub City FC across the match underlined a side that struggled to channel its intensity productively.

The result gives District Elite FC a valuable three points on the road and leaves Hub City FC searching for answers after a disciplined opponent exposed their defensive frailties.
