Lexington SC cruised to a 3–0 victory over Dallas Trinity FC in USL Super League action on Friday, with Catherine Barry's second-half brace sealing a dominant home performance. Addie McCain opened the scoring in the 56th minute before Barry struck twice in the final 20 minutes to put the result beyond doubt.

The first half produced little in the way of goals, though Dallas Trinity's Sofía Caicedo picked up a yellow card in the 39th minute as tensions simmered. Neither side could find a breakthrough before the break.

Lexington came out sharper after halftime. McCain broke the deadlock just before the hour mark, finishing from an Allyson Brown delivery to give the hosts the lead they had been searching for. The goal seemed to knock the fight out of Dallas, and Lexington smelled blood.

Barry doubled the advantage in the 70th minute, and the forward wasn't done there. She added her second ten minutes later to complete a comfortable afternoon for Lexington and cap a clinical 24-minute spell that yielded all three goals.

Dallas rarely threatened in the second half and had no answer for Lexington's attacking quality once the floodgates opened. Gracie Falla received a late yellow card for Lexington deep in stoppage time, but it was little more than a footnote on an otherwise convincing night for the hosts.

The result strengthens Lexington SC's position in the USL Super League standings and extends what has been a difficult stretch for a Dallas Trinity side that was well beaten on the road.
