Monterey Bay FC cruised to a 4–1 victory over Loudoun United FC on Saturday, with Riley Bidois scoring twice and Wesley Leggett and Chris Nadje adding one apiece. Arquimides Ordonez grabbed a consolation for the visitors.

The hosts wasted no time taking control. Bidois opened the scoring in the fifth minute, finishing from a Paul Gindiri feed to put Monterey Bay ahead early. Six minutes later, Leggett doubled the lead, giving the home side a commanding 2–0 cushion before the match had even settled into a rhythm.

Loudoun came out with more urgency after the break. Ordonez pulled one back just two minutes into the second half, converting from a Richard Aman assist to make it 2–1 and briefly inject some tension into proceedings. Boluwatife Akinyode picked up a yellow card in the 53rd minute as Loudoun tried to build on their momentum.

Any hopes of a comeback, though, were extinguished in the 62nd minute when Bidois struck again. His second goal of the night restored Monterey Bay's two-goal advantage and effectively killed the contest. The home side saw out the remaining minutes comfortably, with Sebastian Lletget and Zackery Farnsworth both collecting bookings in the final stretch as the game grew scrappy.

Nadje put the finishing touch on the result in the 86th minute, tapping in from an Eduardo Blancas assist to round out a comprehensive 4–1 scoreline.

The dominant home display gives Monterey Bay FC valuable points in the USL Championship standings and further evidence that their attack is firing on all cylinders heading into the summer stretch of the season.
