El Farolito cruised to a 3-0 away victory over Cruizers FC in NPSL action on Friday, benefiting from three own goals by the hosts across the second half of the first half and beyond. K. Sacre put the ball into his own net in the 39th minute, C. Valencia Cifuentes added a second own goal six minutes into the second half, and J. Valdivia completed the misery in the 78th minute as Cruizers FC self-destructed at home.

The opening half hour passed without incident before Sacre's own goal broke the deadlock and set the tone for a disastrous evening for Cruizers. Frustration crept in quickly — G. Arias picked up a yellow card in the 42nd minute, and O. Lemus followed two minutes later as tempers flared before the break.

The second half brought no relief. Valencia Cifuentes turned the ball past his own goalkeeper in the 51st minute to make it 2-0, and the match grew increasingly scrappy. El Farolito picked up four bookings across the second half — J. Perez in the 47th minute, I. Shono in the 59th, C. Cliburn in the 62nd, and Z. Looney right at the end in stoppage time — while Cruizers' E. Kreye was also cautioned in the 55th minute. Despite the cards piling up, El Farolito never looked troubled defensively, and Valdivia's own goal late on simply rubber-stamped a comprehensive result.

The win gives El Farolito valuable points on the road in the NPSL season, while Cruizers FC will need to regroup quickly after a night they will want to forget in a hurry.
