Hershey FC dismantled FC Motown 5–0 in NPSL action on May 16, with J. Gomez striking twice and further goals from J. Ramos, A. Lazo, and L. Ayaz completing the rout. The visitors were clinical from the opening whistle and never looked back.

Gomez set the tone just five minutes in, giving Hershey an early lead that immediately put FC Motown on the back foot. The hosts barely had time to regroup before C. Ramberger picked up a yellow card in the 11th minute, a sign of the frustration already building. Gomez then doubled the advantage in the 19th minute, finishing again to make it 2–0 and all but kill the contest before the halfway mark of the first half.

Ramos added a third in the 26th minute as Hershey's attack continued to cut through at will. Lazo made it four just before halftime, scoring in the 43rd minute to send Motown into the break facing an insurmountable deficit.

The second half was a quieter affair, as might be expected with the result long settled. Ayaz put the finishing touch on the performance in the 81st minute, completing the 5–0 scoreline and ensuring every phase of Hershey's attack had contributed to the scoresheet.

FC Motown had no answer across the 90 minutes. The hosts were carved open repeatedly in the first half and offered little going forward throughout.

The emphatic victory marks a major statement from Hershey FC early in the NPSL season, while FC Motown will need to respond quickly to avoid a slide down the standings.
