Sarasota Paradise held off a late Chattanooga Red Wolves SC rally to win 3–2 at home on Wednesday night in USL League One action. Anderson Rosa (18'), Emiliano Terzaghi (42'), and Jonathan Bolanos (45+2') all found the net for Sarasota, while Omar Hernandez (27') and Greyson Mercer (90+5') replied for the visitors.

Rosa opened the scoring in the 18th minute, giving Sarasota the early advantage. Chattanooga responded quickly, though, as Hernandez leveled things nine minutes later to make it 1–1. The hosts regained control before the break. Terzaghi restored the lead in the 42nd minute, finishing off a Rosa pass to make it 2–0 from the forward in a productive first half. Sarasota then struck again deep into first-half stoppage time when Bolanos converted from a Terzaghi feed, sending the home side into the interval with a commanding 3–1 cushion.

The second half proved far quieter on the scoresheet, though the tension crept back in during the final minutes. Terzaghi, who had been instrumental with a goal and an assist, picked up a yellow card in the third minute of stoppage time. Two minutes later, Mercer pulled one back for Chattanooga to cut the deficit to 3–2 and set up a nervy finish. It proved to be too little, too late for the Red Wolves, however, as Sarasota saw out the remaining seconds to claim all three points.

The victory gives Sarasota Paradise valuable momentum heading into the back stretch of the League One season, while Chattanooga will rue a first half that got away from them.
