Westchester SC held off a late Forward Madison FC rally to win 3–2 at home on Saturday in USL League One action. Koen Blommestijn scored twice for Westchester, with Piero Elias adding a third, while Joshua Bolma and Bibi Karamoko replied for the visitors.

Westchester took control early. Blommestijn opened the scoring in the 13th minute, finishing from a Kyle Evans delivery to put the hosts ahead. The Flamingos barely had time to regroup before Blommestijn struck again in first-half stoppage time, this time converting from a Daniel Burko feed to double the advantage heading into the break.

Forward Madison came out with more urgency after halftime. Bolma pulled one back in the 55th minute to cut the deficit to one and inject some life into the visiting side. But the response was short-lived. Elias restored Westchester's two-goal cushion in the 72nd minute, with Evans providing his second assist of the evening.

The match grew increasingly fractious in the final stretch. Blommestijn, already the game's standout performer, was cautioned in the 64th minute, while Forward Madison picked up four yellow cards across the contest — including bookings for Turner Humphrey and Aaron Edwards within two minutes of each other late on. The visitors' frustration was palpable, though they did manage a consolation deep into stoppage time when Karamoko scored in the 96th minute to make it 3–2.

It proved too little, too late. The final whistle came shortly after, securing three points for Westchester SC and leaving Forward Madison to rue a first half that got away from them.
