Sacramento Republic FC and San Antonio FC played out a goalless draw in their USL Championship clash on Saturday, with neither side able to find a breakthrough across 90 minutes.

The first half was a cagey affair that produced more cards than clear-cut chances. San Antonio's Jorge Hernández was booked in the 41st minute, and Sacramento's Daniel Crisostomo followed him into the referee's notebook just three minutes later as tensions rose heading into the break.

The second half offered little more in terms of attacking quality. Both teams struggled to create the kind of openings needed to separate two well-organized defenses. San Antonio's Diogo Pacheco picked up a yellow card in the 83rd minute as the visitors grew increasingly frustrated in the closing stages, but the game never tilted decisively in either direction.

Neither goalkeeper was forced into heroics, and the match ended as it began — level and largely uneventful. It was the kind of result that will satisfy neither side, with a share of the points doing little to shift momentum for either Sacramento or San Antonio as the season enters its final stretch.

The draw leaves both clubs searching for the kind of form that could define their positioning down the line in the USL Championship standings.
