Forward Madison FC came from behind to beat One Knoxville SC 2–1 on the road Saturday in USL League One, with goals from Turner Humphrey and Stephen Annor overturning an early deficit after John Murphy had opened the scoring for the hosts.

The first half produced all three goals and plenty of friction. Murphy struck first in the 16th minute to give One Knoxville the lead, but the advantage lasted barely eight minutes. Humphrey equalized in the 24th, finishing off a Roman Torres delivery to level the contest at one apiece.

Forward Madison kept pressing and found the winner before the break. Annor made it 2–1 in the 39th minute, converting from a Geni Kanyane assist to complete the turnaround inside a frenetic opening 45 minutes.

The match was a bad-tempered affair throughout. Referee's notebook was busy with seven yellow cards spread across both sides — five of them shown to Forward Madison players, including Kanyane just minutes before he set up the decisive goal. One Knoxville picked up two bookings of their own, with Abel Caputo and Stavros Zarokostas both cautioned in the first half as challenges flew in from both directions.

Despite the cards and the clear tension, neither side saw red, and the second half failed to produce another goal. One Knoxville pushed for an equalizer but couldn't find a way through a Madison side content to protect what they had.

The result gives Forward Madison an early-season
