Spokane Velocity FC earned a convincing 1–3 away victory over Westchester SC in USL League One action on Saturday, with goals from Neco Brett, Shavon John-Brown, and Andre Lewis sealing the result after Dean Guezen had given the hosts an early lead.

Westchester started brightly. Guezen opened the scoring in the 14th minute, finishing from a Jonathan Jimenez assist to put the home side ahead. The advantage lasted all of three minutes. Brett equalized for Spokane in the 17th, and what had looked like a promising start for Westchester was suddenly level.

Derek Waldeck picked up a yellow card in the 29th minute for Spokane, but the visitors remained the more dangerous side as the half wore on. Just before the break, John-Brown put Spokane ahead for the first time, converting from a Jack Denton assist in the 44th minute. It was a gut punch for Westchester, who had controlled the opening exchanges but now trailed heading into halftime.

The second half began with Westchester's Daniel Bouman collecting a booking in the 49th minute, and the hosts struggled to build sustained pressure. Spokane put the game to bed in the 72nd minute when Andre Lewis made it 3–1, set up by Waldeck — who had been busy at both ends of the pitch all evening. Miguel Diaz also saw yellow late on for Westchester as frustration crept in.

Spokane never looked troubled after Lewis's goal, seeing out the closing stages comfortably. The result continues a strong run on the road for Velocity FC and leaves Westchester searching for answers at home.
