Lexington SC picked up a comfortable 2–0 home victory over Dallas Trinity FC in USL Super League action on Friday night, with goals from Sarah Griffith and Catherine Barry sealing all three points.

The first half was a slow burn. Dallas Trinity's Cyera Hintzen was booked in the 32nd minute, and Lexington made the visitors pay before the break. Griffith broke the deadlock in the 40th minute, giving the hosts a deserved lead heading into halftime.

Lexington wasted no time extending their advantage after the restart. Barry made it 2–0 just six minutes into the second half, finishing off a delivery from Alyssa Bourgeois to double the margin. From there, Lexington controlled proceedings. Dallas Trinity offered little in response, unable to manufacture the chances needed to claw their way back into the contest.

Neither side picked up further cards, and the match played out without major incident in the final half-hour. Lexington saw the game out with relative ease, rarely looking troubled defensively after taking a two-goal cushion.

The win strengthens Lexington SC's position in the USL Super League standings and leaves Dallas Trinity FC searching for answers on the road.
