Dallas Trinity FC came from behind to beat Spokane Zephyr FC 2–1 at home on Saturday in USL Super League action, with goals from Wayny Balata and Allie Thornton overturning an early deficit.

Spokane drew first blood in the 21st minute when Ally Cook finished from a Mollie Rouse delivery to give the visitors the lead. The Zephyr had started the brighter of the two sides, and the goal rewarded their early initiative. Dallas struggled to find a foothold in the first half, which grew increasingly scrappy — Sophie Braun and Cameron Tucker both picked up yellow cards for Spokane before the break.

The second half was a different story. Dallas leveled just three minutes after the restart when Balata latched onto a pass from Tamara and converted in the 48th minute to make it 1–1. The equalizer shifted the momentum firmly in the hosts' favor. Cyera Hintzen was cautioned in the 56th minute, but it did little to slow Dallas's push forward.

Thornton completed the turnaround in the 70th minute, striking to put Trinity ahead for the first time in the match. From there, Dallas managed the game well enough to see out the result without any late scares.

The win gives Dallas Trinity FC a valuable three points at home and continues to establish them as a competitive force in the USL Super League, while Spokane Zephyr FC will rue a strong start that ultimately counted for nothing.
