DC Power FC cruised to a 3–1 victory over Fort Lauderdale United FC in USL Super League action on Wednesday night, with Dasia Torbert scoring twice and Loza Geinore adding a late third to seal the result.

Power took control midway through the first half. Torbert opened the scoring in the 21st minute, finishing from a Gianna Gourley delivery to give the hosts the lead. She doubled it before halftime, converting again in the 40th minute after Emily Colton picked her out. Torbert's brace put DC Power firmly in command and left Fort Lauderdale chasing the game.

The visitors did manage to pull one back in
