Brooklyn FC and Dallas Trinity FC played out a 1–1 draw in USL Super League action on Saturday, with Ryan Childers opening the scoring in the 79th minute before Camryn Lancaster rescued a point for Dallas deep in stoppage time.

The first half produced no goals but did see Dallas's Cyera Hintzen pick up a yellow card in the 37th minute. Neither side could find a breakthrough before the break, and the second half followed a similar pattern for long stretches.

Brooklyn finally broke the deadlock with 11 minutes remaining. Jessica Garziano delivered the key pass, and Childers converted to give the home side a 1–0 lead that looked like it might be enough to see out the match.

It wasn't. Lancaster struck in the 90th minute, finishing off a pass from Allie Thornton to level the score and deny Brooklyn all three points at the death. It was the kind of late equalizer that will sting for days — Brooklyn had done the hard work of finding a goal in a tight, low-scoring affair, only to concede when the final whistle was within reach.

Dallas, meanwhile, will take the point gladly. Trailing with minutes left on the road, the draw speaks to resilience even if the overall performance left plenty to be desired in front of goal for most of the 90 minutes.

The shared spoils mean neither side gained significant ground in the USL Super League standings, though Dallas's late rescue could carry psychological momentum into their next fixture.
