Louisville City FC salvaged a point late on Saturday, with Ray Serrano's 89th-minute equalizer securing a 2–2 draw against Brooklyn FC in USL Championship action. Chris Donovan also scored for Louisville, while Markus Anderson and Stefan Stojanovic found the net for Brooklyn.

Brooklyn struck early. Just four minutes in, Anderson finished off a pass from Thomas Vancaeyezeele to put the visitors ahead. Louisville responded physically — Aiden McFadden picked up a yellow card in the 18th minute, and Brooklyn's Tommy McNamara was booked three minutes later as the match grew scrappy.

Donovan pulled Louisville level on the half-hour mark, converting to make it 1–1 heading into the break. The forward was later cautioned himself, joining a growing list of players in the referee's notebook.

Brooklyn regained the lead ten minutes into the second half. Stojanovic made it 2–1 in the 55th minute, getting on the end of a Christopher Olney Jr. delivery to restore the visitors' advantage. Jackson Lee was booked in the 79th minute as Brooklyn tried to see the game out.

They couldn't. Serrano struck a minute before full time to drag Louisville back into it at 2–2, denying Brooklyn what had looked like a hard-earned road win. Anderson, Brooklyn's opening goalscorer, was also yellow-carded late as frustrations boiled over.

The draw extends Louisville City FC's unbeaten run at home but will feel like two points dropped, while Brooklyn FC will rue their inability to hold a lead that lasted more than half an hour.
