El Farolito cruised to a 3–0 victory over Duluth FC in NPSL action on July 18, benefiting from three own goals by the visitors. H. Soto put through his own net twice — in the sixth minute and again on 59 — before D. Benson added a third own goal in the 80th minute to cap a dismal evening for Duluth.

The damage came early. Soto's first own goal gave El Farolito the lead before the match had found any rhythm, and the hosts sat comfortably on that advantage through most of the opening half. C. Valencia Cifuentes was cautioned for Duluth in the 24th minute, with R. Nozawa booked for El Farolito at 35', but neither side changed the scoreline before halftime.

The second half brought more misery for the visitors. J. Martinez picked up a yellow card just three minutes after the restart, and Soto's second own goal on the hour mark effectively ended the contest. Benson's misfortune 10 minutes from full time made it three, and the closing stages turned scrappy. J. Wilson saw yellow for El Farolito in the 75th minute before L. Da Silva and J. Cervantes were both cautioned in quick succession as frustrations boiled over late on.

Six yellow cards were shown across the 90 minutes — three to each side — in a match that grew increasingly fractious despite never being competitive on the scoreboard.

The result hands El Farolito a convincing three points and extends what has been a difficult stretch on the road for Duluth FC.
