Richmond Kickers and Athletic Club Boise played out a 2–2 draw in USL League One on Saturday, with Boise rallying from two goals down in the final 15 minutes through strikes from Denys Kostyshyn (79') and Nick Moon (86') to cancel out earlier efforts from Austin Amer (22') and Lucca Dourado (51').

Richmond looked comfortable for much of the contest. Amer opened the scoring midway through the first half, finishing from a Darwin Espinal feed to give the Kickers the lead. Dourado, who had been booked just two minutes after the opener, doubled the advantage six minutes into the second half, converting from a Tarik Pannholzer delivery to make it 2–0.

From there, though, Richmond's grip on the game loosened — and their discipline slipped with it. The Kickers racked up five yellow cards across the match, with Espinal, Sam Layton, Hayden Anderson, and Ali Sasankhah all cautioned in the second half. The persistent fouling disrupted any rhythm Richmond had built and handed Boise momentum.

Athletic Club Boise took full advantage. Kostyshyn pulled one back in the 79th minute, and suddenly the complexion of the match shifted. Seven minutes later, Moon found the equalizer to complete the comeback and stun the home side.

It was a bitter pill for Richmond, who controlled proceedings for nearly 80 minutes before letting the points slip. For Boise, the late fightback will feel like a victory, snatching a point from a match that looked well beyond them. Both sides will look at this result differently — Richmond ruing their indiscipline, Boise banking the resilience — as the League One season pushes deeper into the summer stretch.
