FC Milwaukee Torrent cruised to a 3-1 away victory over Southern Indiana Guardians FC in NPSL action on Saturday, with R. Lasso García scoring twice and M. LeRoy adding another to put the result beyond doubt before G. Voung grabbed a late consolation for the hosts.

Milwaukee struck first in the 32nd minute when LeRoy found the net to give the Torrent a deserved lead. The visitors were hardly done. Just four minutes later, Lasso García made it 2-0, and the goal sparked a fractious spell — T. LeRoy picked up a yellow card in the 36th minute, followed by Southern Indiana's G. Tosh two minutes later. W. Seymour had already been booked in the 21st minute, so Milwaukee were walking a disciplinary tightrope heading into the break.

It didn't matter. Lasso García struck again in the 53rd minute to extend the advantage to three, effectively killing the contest. Southern Indiana had no answer. D. Gallegos received Milwaukee's third yellow of the night in the 67th minute as the game grew scrappy, but the Torrent managed the closing stages comfortably.

Voung pulled one back for the Guardians in the 90th minute to salvage some pride, though the goal changed nothing about the outcome. G. Diaz also saw yellow in stoppage time as frustrations boiled over for the home side.

The result marks a commanding road win for FC Milwaukee Torrent and a tough evening for Southern Indiana Guardians FC, who will need to regroup quickly if they hope to stay competitive in the NPSL standings this summer.
