Spokane Zephyr FC picked up a comfortable 2–0 home victory over Dallas Trinity FC on Sunday, with second-half goals from Tori Waldeck and Maya McCutcheon sealing all three points in USL Super League action.

The first half passed without a breakthrough, but the game opened up shortly after the hour mark. Waldeck broke the deadlock in the 60th minute, finishing from a Sophie Braun assist to give Spokane the lead. Just seven minutes later, McCutcheon doubled the advantage, making it 2–0 and effectively putting the contest to bed.

Dallas struggled to mount a response and grew visibly frustrated. Hannah Davison was booked in the 70th minute, just three minutes after McCutcheon's goal, and veteran defender Amber Brooks followed her into the referee's notebook in the 81st minute. Trinity FC never looked likely to find a way back into the match.

Spokane managed the closing stages without incident, seeing out a clean sheet to cap a disciplined performance across the 90 minutes. The Zephyr were clinical when it mattered — two goals in a seven-minute span proved more than enough against a Dallas side that offered little going forward.

The result strengthens Spokane Zephyr FC's position in the USL Super League standings and extends a difficult stretch for Dallas Trinity FC, who will need to find answers quickly as the season progresses.
