Tampa Bay Rowdies cruised to a 3–0 victory over Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Saturday, with goals from Russell Cicerone (45+2'), Matt Myers (77'), and Evan Conway (90+4') securing all three points in USL Championship action.

The first half was a tight affair. Tampa Bay's Dion Acoff picked up a yellow card in the 41st minute, but the Rowdies found their breakthrough just moments before the break. Cicerone latched onto a pass from Marco Micaletto and finished to make it 1–0 deep into first-half stoppage time — a gut punch for Pittsburgh heading into the interval.

The Riverhounds came out needing a response but instead found themselves increasingly frustrated. Brunallergene Etou was cautioned in the 56th minute, and Micaletto followed into the book six minutes later. Neither side could force the next goal until the 77th minute, when Myers converted from a Cicerone delivery to double the Rowdies' advantage.

From there, Pittsburgh had little left to offer. Trevor Amann received a yellow card in the 90+3' minute as tempers frayed late, and Conway put the exclamation point on the result a minute later, finishing off a Myers assist to complete the rout. Cicerone, who had a hand in both earlier goals, was also booked in the 90th minute but could afford the caution with the game well in hand.

The comfortable home win gives Tampa Bay an early-season statement result and puts Pittsburgh on
