AV ALTA FC and Greenville Triumph SC shared the points in a 2–2 draw in USL League One on Saturday, with Azaad Liadi's first-half brace cancelled out by second-half goals from Cesar Bahena Jr and Adam Aoumaich.
Greenville wasted no time taking control. Liadi opened the scoring in the fourth minute, finishing from a Muba Nour delivery to put the visitors ahead early. He then struck again in the 36th minute — this time unassisted — to double Greenville's advantage and leave AV ALTA staring at a deficit heading into the break.
The hosts refused to go quietly. Bahena Jr pulled one back deep in first-half stoppage time to halve the deficit and give AV ALTA a lifeline, though he was also booked on the play. That goal shifted the momentum, and AV ALTA completed the comeback in the 58th minute when Aoumaich converted from a Bahena Jr assist to level the score at 2–2.
The second half grew increasingly fractious. Referee's cards flew freely, with Renden Thomas and Erick Ceja both cautioned for AV ALTA, while Liadi picked up a yellow of his own in the 74th minute. Greenville's Toby Sims was booked in added time as both sides pushed for a winner that never came. In total, eight yellow cards were shown across the 90 minutes.
Neither team could find a decisive third goal, and the draw leaves both clubs looking over their shoulders as the regular season winds toward its conclusion.
