FC Tulsa and Sacramento Republic FC played out a 1–1 draw in USL Championship action on Saturday, with Arquimides Ordonez opening the scoring early for the hosts before Memo Rodríguez rescued a point for Sacramento deep into the second half.

Tulsa started on the front foot. Ordonez found the net in the ninth minute to give the home side an early advantage, and for the bulk of the match it looked like that goal would be enough. Sacramento picked up back-to-back yellow cards through Ryan Spaulding in the 31st minute and Arturo Rodríguez a minute later, suggesting a spell of frustration as the visitors struggled to find a foothold.

FC Tulsa carried their lead into halftime and through most of the second half, but couldn't put the game to bed. Sacramento kept pushing, and the persistence paid off in the 89th minute when Memo Rodríguez leveled the score to deny Tulsa all three points. It was a cruel blow for the hosts, who had defended their slim lead for 80 minutes only to see it evaporate with seconds remaining.

Tempers flared late, with FC Tulsa picking up yellow cards in first-half stoppage time through Ian and again in second-half stoppage time through Logan Dorsey, the latter coming after Sacramento's equalizer had shifted the momentum.

The draw leaves both teams splitting the points in a result that will frustrate Tulsa far more than Sacramento, who will take the late equalizer as a sign of resilience heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
