Indy Eleven came from behind to beat Sporting JAX 2–1 at home on Friday night in the USL Championship, with second-half goals from Bruno Manuel Rendón and Anthony Herbert overturning an early deficit.

Sporting JAX started brightly despite Rafferty Pedder picking up a yellow card in the 10th minute. The visitors carried the better of the first-half momentum and were rewarded right at the stroke of halftime when Ahmad Al Qaq converted from an Emil Jääskeläinen assist to make it 1–0. The closing moments of the first half turned scrappy, with both Herbert and Al Qaq collecting yellow cards in stoppage time.

Whatever Indy Eleven's coaching staff said at the break, it worked. Just six minutes into the second half, Rendón equalized, finishing from an Aodhan Quinn delivery to level the score at 1–1. The home side kept pressing and took the lead in the 65th minute through Herbert, who — already sitting on a booking — showed no hesitation in getting forward to put Indy ahead.

Sporting JAX pushed for a late equalizer but couldn't find a way through. Harvey Neville was cautioned in the 87th minute as frustration crept in, and Indy Eleven saw out the final minutes without major alarm.
