Tampa Bay Sun FC and Spokane Zephyr FC shared the points in a 2–2 draw in USL Super League action on Saturday, with neither side able to hold onto a lead. Lena Silano and Felicia Knox scored for Spokane, while Sydny Nasello and Madison Parsons found the net for Tampa Bay.

Spokane struck first. Silano opened the scoring in the 15th minute, finishing off a Tori Waldeck delivery to give the Zephyr an early advantage. The lead lasted just 12 minutes. Nasello equalized for the Sun in the 27th, converting from a Sabrina McNeill assist to level things heading toward halftime.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Knox restored Spokane's lead in the 53rd minute, putting the visitors back in front and forcing Tampa Bay to chase the game again. The Sun needed nearly 20 minutes to find their answer, but Parsons delivered it in the 71st, pulling the hosts level at 2–2.

Tampa Bay pushed for a winner in the closing stages but picked up a yellow card through Taylor Chism in the 76th minute as the match grew scrappy. Neither side could find a decisive third goal, and the points were split.

The draw continues a familiar theme for both clubs — two teams capable of scoring but struggling to see out results. With the USL Super League season moving deeper into its stretch run, dropped points like these could prove costly for Tampa Bay and Spokane alike in the standings.
