DC Power FC and Tampa Bay Sun FC shared the points in a 1–1 draw in USL Super League action on Friday night. Shea Connors opened the scoring for Tampa Bay in the 62nd minute before Emma Jaskaniec equalized for DC Power eight minutes later.

The first half produced no goals but plenty of needle. Samantha Cary picked up a yellow card in the 17th minute for DC Power, and the hosts' discipline continued to fray after the break. Justina Gaynor was booked in the 55th minute, followed almost immediately by Tyler Lussi in the 56th — two cautions inside 60 seconds that put DC Power in a precarious position.

Tampa Bay capitalized shortly after. Jordyn Listro delivered the key pass and Connors converted in the 62nd minute to give the visitors the lead. Sabrina McNeill was then cautioned for Tampa Bay in the 64th, and teammate Dasia Torbert followed into the book four minutes later as the match grew increasingly fractious.

DC Power found their response in the 70th minute. Alyssa Walker set up Jaskaniec, who finished to level the score at 1–1. It was a crucial goal for the hosts, who had spent much of the second half walking a disciplinary tightrope.

Connors, who had earlier put Tampa Bay ahead, was herself booked in the 83rd minute — the sixth yellow card of a bad-tempered second half. Neither side could find a winner in the closing stages, and the match ended level.

The draw leaves both teams searching for the kind of consistency that turns shared points into full hauls as the USL Super League season progresses.
