Greenville Triumph SC and Sarasota Paradise played out a goalless draw in USL League One on Wednesday night, with neither side able to find a breakthrough across 90 minutes.
The first half produced little of note in the way of disciplinary action or defining moments, with both teams heading into the break level and scoreless.
Sarasota's Amadeus Sögaard picked up the game's first yellow card in the 53rd minute, and the match grew increasingly scrappy as it wore on. Greenville's frustration became visible late in the second half when Rodrigo Robles was booked in the 83rd minute, followed just two minutes later by teammate Ivan Agyaakwah — both cautions coming as the home side pushed for a winner that never arrived.
Neither team could produce a moment of quality when it mattered most. The result extends what has been a tight, low-scoring affair between two sides still finding their footing in the league standings.
The point apiece does little to shift the momentum for either club as the season moves deeper into the summer stretch.
