Players Development Academy came from behind to beat WC Predators 3–2 in NPSL action on June 24, with E. Heyward, E. Birch, and an own goal from D. Grace providing the home side's goals. P. Killeen and Grace scored for the Predators.

WC Predators took the lead almost immediately. Killeen struck in just the second minute to put the visitors ahead and put the home side on the back foot early. Players Development Academy needed 12 minutes to respond, but Heyward equalized in the 14th minute to level the contest heading toward halftime.

The second half belonged largely to the home team — at least initially. Birch put Players Development Academy ahead for the first time in the 50th minute, giving them a 2–1 cushion. The Predators refused to fold, though. Grace pulled WC Predators level in the 64th minute, and for a brief spell the momentum swung firmly in the visitors' favor.

That momentum lasted all of two minutes. Grace, who had just equalized for the Predators, turned the ball into his own net in the 66th minute to restore Players Development Academy's lead at 3–2. It was a cruel twist after his equalizer had seemingly shifted the game.

The closing stages grew testy. Both Killeen and PDA's A. Fedor picked up yellow cards in the 90th minute as tempers flared, but the scoreline held.

The result gives Players Development Academy a valuable three points as the NPSL season moves deeper into the summer stretch, while WC Predators will rue a collapse that saw them surrender the lead and ultimately fall on the wrong side of a five-goal contest.
