El Paso Locomotive FC and FC Tulsa played out a 1–1 draw in a fractious USL Championship clash on Friday night. Logan Dorsey opened the scoring for Tulsa in the eighth minute, while Roberto Avila equalized for El Paso nine minutes later.

Tulsa struck first when Dorsey finished from a Jeorgio Kocevski feed to put the visitors ahead early. The celebration was short-lived for Kocevski, however — he was booked just four minutes later, and teammate Wilson Eisner joined him in the referee's notebook two minutes after that. The early cards set the tone for a chippy affair.

El Paso responded quickly. Avila leveled in the 17th minute, converting from an Alex Méndez assist to bring the hosts back on terms. The remainder of the first half produced no further goals, though Tulsa's Ian picked up yet another yellow card in the 36th minute as the match's physical edge continued to bite.

The second half followed a similar pattern — competitive but lacking a decisive moment. FC Tulsa continued to test the referee's patience, with Delentz Pierre cautioned in the 49th minute and Owen Damm following in the 66th. El Paso picked up bookings of their own through Gabi Torres and Tony Alfaro. Lucas Stauffer added a sixth Tulsa yellow deep in stoppage time. Despite the persistent fouling from both sides, neither team could find a way through for a winner.

The point leaves both teams searching for momentum as the regular season enters its final stretch, with neither side able to afford many more drawn results in a congested table.
