Greenville Triumph SC cruised to a 3–1 victory over Loudoun United FC on Wednesday night, with goals from William Akio, Connor Evans, and Jason Bouregy sealing a comfortable USL Championship win. James Murphy grabbed a stoppage-time consolation for the visitors.

The first half was a cagey affair until Akio broke the deadlock just before the break. Azaad Liadi provided the assist in the 43rd minute, and Akio made no mistake to send Greenville into halftime with the advantage. Loudoun's Jacob Erlandson had already been cautioned in the 37th minute, setting the tone for a frustrating evening for the visitors.

Greenville doubled their lead midway through the second half. Evans finished from a Tyler Polak delivery in the 64th minute to give the hosts breathing room. Loudoun's Axel Essengue picked up a yellow card four minutes later as the away side's discipline continued to slip.

Bouregy put the result beyond doubt in the 85th minute, converting off a Rodrigo Robles assist to make it 3–0. He was booked moments later for his celebration, one of three Greenville yellows on the night. Deshane Beckford also went into the referee's notebook in the 90th minute as the closing stages grew scrappy.

Murphy pulled one back for Loudoun deep in stoppage time, nodding home from a Thorleifur Úlfarsson assist in the 93rd minute, but it was nothing more than a footnote on a night Greenville controlled from start to finish.

The result strengthens Greenville Triumph SC's position in the Eastern Conference standings and extends what has been a difficult stretch for a Loudoun side struggling to pick up points on the road.
