Fort Wayne FC rescued a point in dramatic fashion, with Ryan Becher scoring deep into stoppage time to earn a 2–2 draw against FC Naples in USL League One action on Saturday night.

Naples took control early. Julian Cisneros opened the scoring in the 11th minute, finishing off a Kevin O'Connor delivery to put the visitors ahead. Six minutes later, Christopher Garcia doubled the lead, and Fort Wayne found itself staring down a two-goal deficit before the 20-minute mark.

The hosts struggled to find a foothold in the first half, while Naples picked up bookings through Cisneros in the 25th minute and Nicolas Likulia just before halftime. The second half grew increasingly scrappy, with Luca Mastrantonio, Javier Armas, Jack Thomas, and Edward Delgado all seeing yellow between the 54th and 79th minutes.

Fort Wayne's comeback began in the 83rd minute. Thomas, booked earlier in the half, turned provider — his delivery found Tiago Dias, who pulled one back to give the home side a lifeline. Naples dug in, but Fort Wayne kept pushing. Becher completed the comeback in the second minute of added time, sparking scenes at the final whistle.

The frustration was evident on the Naples side. Joshua Yoder and Taylor Gray both received yellow cards in the closing moments of stoppage time as tempers boiled over following the late equalizer.

Fort Wayne will take the momentum from the comeback, but both sides will feel this was a game they could have won — Naples for failing to protect a two-goal cushion, Fort Wayne for leaving it so late to find a response.
