Buffalo Stallions fought back from two goals down to salvage a 2–2 draw against Niagara 1812 in NPSL action on July 1. S. LaMendola (7'), A. Djadou (27'), A. Ward (45'), and J. Cardona Belalcazar (55') all found the net in a game that also produced two red cards.

Niagara took control early. LaMendola opened the scoring just seven minutes in, and Djadou doubled the visitors' lead in the 27th minute to leave Buffalo staring at a comfortable deficit before halftime. The Stallions, though, pulled one back right at the stroke of half-time through Ward, a goal that shifted the momentum heading into the break.

Buffalo carried that energy into the second half. Cardona Belalcazar leveled things at 2–2 in the 55th minute, completing the comeback within ten minutes of the restart. The game then tilted again when Niagara's A. Lozoya was sent off in the 61st minute, leaving the visitors to play the final half-hour a man down.

Despite the numerical advantage, Buffalo couldn't find a winner. The closing stages grew increasingly fractious. C. Provenzano picked up a yellow card in the 72nd minute, and when he was shown a second yellow in stoppage time, it was the Stallions who finished with ten men as well. LaMendola, Niagara's opening goalscorer, was also booked late on as tempers flared.

A point apiece means neither side gained significant ground in the NPSL standings, though Buffalo will feel this was two points dropped after clawing their way back and holding a man advantage for nearly 30 minutes.
