Lexington SC cruised past Brooklyn FC 3–0 at home on Saturday, scoring three second-half goals to earn a commanding USL Super League victory. Catherine Barry opened the scoring in the 58th minute, Addie McCain doubled the lead three minutes later, and Hannah White sealed it late with a third in the 82nd minute.

The first half produced no goals, with neither side able to break the deadlock before the interval. Lexington's breakthrough came just before the hour mark when Barry found the net to make it 1–0, and Brooklyn barely had time to regroup. In the 61st minute, Allison Pantuso delivered the ball to McCain, who converted to put Lexington in full control at 2–0.

Brooklyn FC had no answer. Any faint hopes of a comeback were extinguished when White latched onto a pass from Alyssa Bourgeois and fired home the third with eight minutes of regulation remaining. White was later booked in stoppage time, as was teammate Allyson Brown in the 76th minute, but neither card carried any consequence beyond the final whistle.

The clean sheet underlined Lexington's dominance across the 90 minutes. Brooklyn managed little of note going forward and were punished for a three-minute spell in the second half that effectively decided the contest.

The result gives Lexington SC a significant three points and further momentum in the USL Super League season, while Brooklyn FC will need to respond quickly to avoid a difficult stretch of form.
