FC Frederick and District Elite FC shared the points in a six-goal NPSL draw on Friday night, finishing 3–3. C. Woobay struck twice early for District Elite, while J. Geist, A. Tewodros, and K. Morinaga replied for FC Frederick. R. Cicmanec also found the net for the visitors.

District Elite came out fast. Woobay opened the scoring in the 10th minute, then doubled the lead just four minutes later to put FC Frederick in an early hole. The hosts looked rattled, and T. Coleman picked up a yellow card in the 24th minute as frustrations mounted.

FC Frederick steadied themselves as the half wore on. Geist pulled one back right before the break, his 45th-minute goal cutting the deficit to 2–1 heading into halftime.

The comeback continued after the interval. Tewodros equalized in the 61st minute, leveling the match at 2–2 and shifting momentum firmly toward the home side. But District Elite had an answer. Cicmanec restored the visitors' lead in the 69th minute, making it 3–2 and earning himself a yellow card seven minutes later for his troubles.

FC Frederick refused to fold. Morinaga struck in the 79th minute to drag the hosts level once more at 3–3. Neither side could find a winner in the closing stages, though Geist was booked in the 90th minute — a late yellow that will give FC Frederick something to monitor going forward.

The draw means both sides remain in the hunt in the NPSL standings, though FC Frederick will rue conceding first twice after clawing their way back on three separate occasions.
