Portland Hearts of Pine stunned FC Naples with a 3-2 comeback victory on the road Friday night in USL League One, scoring twice in the final minutes to snatch all three points. Serigne Faye, Diego Gonzalez, and Mikey Lopez found the net for Portland, while Christopher Garcia and Andrés Ferrín scored for the hosts.

The first half was a slow burn. Portland's Joshua Drack picked up a yellow card in the 12th minute, and Naples controlled much of the tempo from there. The home side's pressure paid off right before the break when Garcia converted in the 45th minute, finishing off a chance created by Julian Cisneros to send Naples into halftime with a 1-0 lead.

Portland responded almost immediately after the restart. Faye equalized in the 48th minute, latching onto a ball from Aboubacar Camara to level the score. The game settled into a back-and-forth contest before Ferrín restored Naples' advantage in the 73rd minute, connecting on a delivery from Omar Ciss.

That looked like it might be enough. It wasn't.

Gonzalez pulled Portland level again in the 88th minute, turning home a pass from Matteo Kidd to make it 2-2. Then, deep into stoppage time, Lopez completed the turnaround with a goal in the 91st minute to seal a dramatic away win.

Naples will rue their inability to hold onto a lead — twice — while Portland's late resilience earns them a crucial three points that could prove significant in a tight League One standings race as the season crosses its midpoint.
