Indy Eleven cruised to a 3–1 victory over Monterey Bay FC on Saturday night, with Bruno Manuel Rendón, Jack Blake, and Loïc Mesanvi all finding the net to secure three points in USL Championship play.

The hosts took the lead in the 14th minute when Rendón finished from a Cameron Lindley feed to put Indy ahead early. The opening half stayed chippy from there — Joel Garcia picked up a yellow for Monterey Bay in the 25th minute, and Noble Okello was booked for Indy seven minutes later — but neither side could add to the scoreline before the break.

Monterey Bay came out with intent after halftime. Wesley Leggett equalized in the 51st minute, converting from an Omari Glasgow assist to level things at 1–1. The response from Indy, though, was swift. Blake restored the lead just four minutes later, scoring in the 55th minute to make it 2–1. Any hopes of a Monterey Bay comeback effectively ended in the 68th minute when Mesanvi added a third, finishing off a pass from Anthony Herbert to give Indy a comfortable two-goal cushion.

The final 20 minutes grew testy. Three yellow cards were shown in quick succession — Zackery Farnsworth for Monterey Bay, Eduardo Blancas for Monterey Bay, and Hesron Barry and Kian Williams for Indy — as frustrations boiled over on both sides. None of it mattered on the scoreboard. Indy Eleven saw the game out without further alarm.

The win gives Indy Eleven early-season momentum as they look to establish themselves near the top of the table in the 2026 campaign.
