Sporting JAX earned a comfortable 2-0 victory away at Sarasota Paradise on Tuesday night, with goals from Rafferty Pedder and Ahmad Al Qaq sealing all three points in USL Championship action.

The first half was goalless until the 34th minute, when Pedder broke the deadlock. Kieran Sadlier picked him out with a well-timed pass, and Pedder did the rest to put the visitors ahead heading into the break.

Sarasota came out of halftime looking to respond but quickly found themselves on the wrong side of the referee. Jonathan Bolanos was cautioned in the 50th minute, and the hosts struggled to build any sustained pressure without giving fouls away. Ethan Bryant picked up a booking of his own in the 80th minute as frustration mounted for a Paradise side that couldn't find a way through.

With the game stretched in the closing stages, Sporting JAX put the result beyond doubt. Al Qaq latched onto a pass from Edgardo Rito in the 87th minute and converted to double the lead. It was a clinical counter that punished Sarasota for pushing numbers forward in search of an equalizer.

The final minutes offered little drama. Sarasota's discipline continued to slip with a stoppage-time yellow card for Maximus Tainio, capping a forgettable evening for the home side.

Sporting JAX's disciplined away display moves them further up the table, while Sarasota Paradise will need to regroup quickly after a defeat that exposed their lack of cutting edge in the final third.
