FC Tulsa and San Antonio FC played out a goalless draw on Saturday night, with neither side able to find a breakthrough in a scrappy USL Championship contest.

The match's tone was set early. Just 19 minutes in, the referee reached for his pocket twice in quick succession, booking FC Tulsa's Lamar Batista and San Antonio's Cristian Parano in the same passage of play. That double caution signaled a physical, stop-start affair that struggled to build any sustained attacking rhythm through the first half.

The second half offered little relief. FC Tulsa's discipline continued to fray as the clock wound down. Delentz Pierre picked up a yellow card in the 76th minute, and teammate Jeorgio Kocevski followed him into the book just a minute later. Three cautions for the home side suggested growing frustration at their inability to unlock San Antonio's defense.

San Antonio weren't immune to the late-game tension either. Akeem Ward was cautioned deep into stoppage time as the visitors saw out the final minutes content with a point on the road.
