Sarasota Paradise dismantled Portland Hearts of Pine 4–1 on the road Saturday night in USL League One, with Sander Røed scoring twice and Mukisa Kiingi and Romain Gall each adding one. Jay Tee Kamara netted Portland's lone reply.

Sarasota wasted no time taking control. Kiingi opened the scoring in the fourth minute, finishing off an Anderson Rosa feed to put the visitors ahead almost immediately. Three minutes later, Røed doubled the lead from another Rosa delivery, and Portland found themselves chasing the game before it had barely started.

Kamara pulled one back for the hosts in the 19th minute, briefly offering hope of a comeback. Portland pushed for an equalizer through the middle portion of the first half, but Røed killed any momentum just before the break, converting from a Jonathan Bolanos pass in the 42nd minute to restore Sarasota's two-goal cushion.

The second half brought more of the same. Gall — who had been booked late in the first half — made it 4–1 six minutes after the restart, again set up by Bolanos. From there, Sarasota managed the game comfortably while Portland's frustration boiled over. The Hearts of Pine collected five yellow cards across the match, including two in stoppage time to Serigne Faye and Brecc Evans.

Rosa and Bolanos were the architects of the rout, combining for all four assists between them as Sarasota's attack moved the ball with purpose throughout.

The comprehensive victory strengthens Sarasota Paradise's position in the League One standings and leaves Portland Hearts of Pine with serious questions heading into the final stretch of the season.
