DC Power FC came from behind to beat Sporting JAX 3–1 on the road Saturday night, with Gianna Gourley scoring twice and Jaydah Bedoya adding a third to complete the comeback in USL Super League action.

It was the hosts who struck first. Jade Pennock gave Sporting JAX the lead in the seventh minute, finishing from a Meg Hughes assist to put DC Power on the back foot early. For the better part of half an hour, JAX held the advantage and looked comfortable doing so.

Gourley had other ideas. She pulled DC Power level in the 38th minute, beating the JAX defense to draw the visitors into halftime with momentum firmly shifted. Whatever was said at the break, it worked — DC Power came out the sharper side after the restart.

Susanna Friedrichs picked up a yellow card for DC Power in the 61st minute, but any concerns about discipline were quickly put to rest. Gourley struck again seven minutes later, converting from an Eliza Gilbert delivery to give the visitors a 2–1 lead. It was a clinical finish from a player who had been DC Power's most dangerous outlet all evening.

Bedoya put the result beyond doubt in the 75th minute, making it 3–1 and effectively ending the contest. Sporting JAX had no answer in the closing stages, unable to muster the kind of response their early goal had promised.

The win gives DC Power FC valuable points on the road and underlines their credentials as a side capable of responding when things don't go their way early in a match.
