Union Omaha edged One Knoxville SC 2–1 at home on Saturday in USL League One action, with goals from Diego Gutiérrez in the eighth minute and Sergio Ors in the 74th to secure all three points. John Murphy pulled one back for the visitors early in the second half, but it wasn't enough.

Gutiérrez gave Omaha the lead inside the opening ten minutes, finishing to put the hosts ahead and set the tone early. One Knoxville struggled to find a foothold in the first half and picked up three yellow cards in quick succession — Dani Fernández in the 24th minute, Ian Fuller a minute later, and William Perkins in the 32nd. The cluster of bookings suggested growing frustration from the visitors as they chased an equalizer before the break.

They found it four minutes into the second half. Murphy leveled the score at 1–1, connecting on a chance created by Kyle Linhares to breathe new life into One Knoxville's evening. Gutiérrez, Omaha's early hero, then picked up a yellow card of his own in the 63rd minute as the match grew increasingly contested in midfield.

Ors settled it. The Omaha substitute or otherwise stepped up in the 74th minute, restoring the home side's lead at a point when the game could have tilted either way. One Knoxville pressed for a second equalizer in the closing stages but couldn't manufacture another clear opening, and Omaha saw out the final minutes comfortably enough.

The win keeps Union Omaha firmly in the mix near the top of the USL League One table as the season enters its final stretch.
